The patron of this work, Helen, left me with full artistic flexibility to paint a work of art to capture the essence of the room. Helen loved horses and I it is easy to fall in love with Helen's free spirited positive personality.
I played with the light to give the viewer the impression that light was beaming on to her and Helena, the horse, was projecting colours into the direction she is looking. I captured Helen's free spirt with Helena's flowing mane.
